Professor Luis "Limao" Heredia
5th Degree Black Belt Luis owns and runs Maui Jiu Jitsu out of the main academy in Haiku and teaches students in all of our classes. Luis is a five time Pan Am tournament champion. He grew up in Brazil with the Gracies and has trained under both Royler and Rickson. He believes that training Gracie Jiu Jitsu can improve every aspect of a person's life.

Black Belt 1st degree Chris is the official Maui Jiu Jitsu representative on the west side of Maui. He owns and operates the Academy of Diverse Grappling Maui in Lahaina.
Christian Diaz

Christian teaches the Adult classes or subs for Professor Heredia when necessary.
Chris Andrion

Chris teaches the Menehune class ages 5-10 years every Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6pm.
Travis Pennington

Travis teaches the No-Gi classes at the Haiku Academy Monday and Wednesdays.

Kawika Ganancial

Kawika teaches the Keiki (ages 10-14) classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Sam Lareau

Sam teaches and assists the adult morning classes as well as the competition team training.
Peter Sunday
Brown Belt 4th degree
Sunday teaches at the Lahaina academy. He also loves long walks on the beach and candlelight dinners. Ask him about his handlebar mustache, he likes the attention.
Joel Bouhey
Brown Belt 2nd degree
Joe teaches the Adult Flexibility , Drills & Techniques classes on Monday mornings, No-gi training Wednesday mornings, Friday evening training, and the Kids No-Gi classes on Saturday mornings.
Tamara Bockius
Tammy is our official yoga instructor and teaches Ashtanga yoga on Wednesday and Friday mornings
